New Bus Stand

Description

The new bus stand is located along the State Highway (P.N.Road), operators that operate from the bus stand are TNSTC, Coimbatore Corporation and Private Buses. It accommodates passengers from various cities like Erode, Coimbatore, Gopi, Mettupalayam, Sathyamangalam,, Theni, Madurai etc.

It had Dilapidated platforms, Improper Maintenance of Toilets, No Bus Timing / Information which created a sense of negligence by the authorities for proper maintenance resulting in less footfall of the passengers

The Terminal had separate entry and exit that made movement of buses easy and also less congested during the movement, It also has a wide frontage which eases the traffic movement.

Central portion of vacant space was not utilised, which can be utilised to create commercial spaces which will generate revenue for the state

Proposal has been submitted for the Improvement or redevelopment of the bus terminal in which 60 bus bays will be created along with ample parking space for the private vehicles of the passengers and some commercial shops are to be developed as well.

Current Projection for the Improvement of the New bus terminal is proposed at INR 13.61 Cr and redevelopment is proposed at INR 22.54 Cr

Project Revenue expected from the improvement is INR 5.03Cr and from redevelopment is INR 2.58Cr with in improvement which will have substantial operational cost, it is arrived at 0.55 Cr with payback period of 8 years and for redevelopment the operational cost is arrived at 0.44 Cr with payback period of 15 years.

The terminal is now properly maintained and the facilities provided are suitable to pass the time while waiting for the bus

Facilities are now available such as properly maintained washrooms or waiting are or cloak room, Seating is available in the terminal and overhead shed is also now there to protect the passengers from the weather

With a proper screen to display the schedule of the buses it is now easier to know when to board a bus and make sure we do not miss the bus

with the new shopping complex developed there are proper shops for the passengers who are waiting for the bus in the meantime they can explore the shops and shop for the items needed

Redeveloped bus stand is now easily navigable with proper parking spaces for the buses and a shopping complex where passengers can spend their time while waiting for the busses

புதிய பேருந்து நிலையம் மாநில நெடுஞ்சாலையில் (பி.என். சாலை) அமைந்துள்ளது. பேருந்து நிலையத்திலிருந்து இயக்கப்படும் பேருந்துகள் TNSTC, கோயம்புத்தூர் மாநகராட்சி மற்றும் தனியார் பேருந்துகள் ஆகும். ஈரோடு, கோயம்புத்தூர், கோபி, மேட்டுப்பாளையம், சத்தியமங்கலம், தேனி, மதுரை போன்ற பல்வேறு நகரங்களில் இருந்து வரும் பயணிகள் இங்கே தங்கும் வசதி உள்ளது.

இது பாழடைந்த நடைமேடைகள், முறையற்ற கழிப்பறைகள், பேருந்து நேரம் குறித்த தகவல் இல்லாதது போன்ற சவால்களை இந்த பேருந்து நிலையம் கொண்டுள்ளது.

புதிய பேருந்து நிலையத்தில் தனி நுழைவு மற்றும் வெளியேறும் வசதி இருந்தது. இது பேருந்துகளின் இயக்கத்தை எளிதாக்கியது மற்றும் இயக்கத்தின் போது குறைவான நெரிசலே இருந்தது. மேலும், இது போக்குவரத்து இயக்கத்தை எளிதாக்கும் ஒரு பரந்த முகப்பையும் கொண்டுள்ளது.

மேம்பாட்டிலிருந்து எதிர்பார்க்கப்படும் திட்ட வருவாய் 5.03 கோடி ருபாய் ஆகும். மேலும், மறுவடிவமைப்பு மூலம் எதிர்பார்க்கப்படும் திட்ட வருவாய் 2.58 கோடி ருபாய் ஆகும். இது கணிசமான செயல்பாட்டிற்கான செலவை சந்திக்க உதவும்.
