Description
In the city of Tiruppur sewerage treatment was not in a good state as the treatment plant was at the capacity so for that a new treatment plant with a higher capacity for the sewerage treatment was proposed
As the drainage system was in a bad condition it was overdue for an upgrade in which new system should be properly planned and installed.
The new project aimed to redevelop and restore Noyyal river identified under ABD area of Tiruppur smart city and revitalize the river and canals from the surrounding neighbor hoods providing safe and convenient mobility corridor for everyone.
Facilities that will be made available for the users will include a public park with amenities like amphitheater, food kiosk, children play area, etc.
Investment to be done for the project is estimated around at a total cost of INR 163.33 Cr, which will be divided into 6 packages that include but are not limited to:
- Construction of 2 MLD (1 No) capacity STP at South side
- 2 MLD (1 Nos) capacity STP at North Side of the Noyyal River ( Projected at a cost of INR 7Cr.)
